Hi, this is
twotone (aka The Giant Hand Of Doom).
Whiskas may be unable to update his LJ for the next while, as he has had a traumatizing incident with his cage today. If anybody has wire hamster cages with plastic "see through" ends, I suggest that they take extra precautions to ensure that the plastic ends cannot, say, slip enough to let a hamster paw squeeze through, and then snap back into place.
Whiskas will hopefully be able to update his LJ again when he is feeling his usual self. Currently, he is huddled under piles of toilet paper and refuses to comment.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,
twotone

A very similar thing once happened to Nippy (TDP). We were worried that he'd broken his foot, but small animal limbs appear to have very flexible and durable bones. Aside from being especially cranky for the rest of the day, he was just fine.
Feel better, Whiskas.
