When your captor does something foolish and inconsiderate, such as changing your bedding without your explicit permission or adding a new chew toy to your cage, there are several ways to express your displeasure.

1. Strategic pooping
   
2. Emptying the waterbottle and soaking the litter
   
3. Overturning foodbowls and other hamster furniture
   
4. Setting up camp in the middle of the nest and refusing to budge until the cage is set up to your liking.
