Today, my captors introduced a new substance into my diet.
When I awoke from my evening nap, I saw that the Giant Hand of Doom (henceforth to be known as GHOD) had again invaded my cell. I went forth to attempt communication with the ineffable GHOD, and perhaps request some more corn kernels in my rations.
The GHOD proferred a strange object, bright yellow in colour and oblong in shape. A chemical analysis of the substance revealed that it was quite possibly edible, and so I wrested the object from my captor's outstretched limbs.
I licked and nibbled on the item for some time, savoring its crunchy flesh and its sweet juices. Then I lost interest and went over to investigate my food bowl. When I returned, I discovered that some dastardly villain had trampled aspen-flakes into the food stuff.
Grr.
