Adding and subtracting folks from my Friends List.
Also, here is a scary story.
Once upon a time, there was an Earthling named
twotone. She lived in a two-storey house with her mom and dad and sister and hamster.
The hamster also lived in a two-storey house. He did not live with his mon or dad or sister.
One day,
twotone walked into the hamster's room. The hamster was sleeping peacefully and blissfully in his cage.
This was as it should be.
The hamster's food bowl had scraps of food in it, and not overturned.
This also was as it should be.
However, in the food bowl...
Was one...
lone...
feather.
It was light, and downy, and pale white-grey.
Scarcely the size of a peanut, it lay in the bowl, slightly quivering in the breeze.
Days passed, and
twotone had almost forgotten about the feather.
The hamster also seemed to have no recollection of the feather.
However, one evening, while
twotone was preparing some lettuce leaves for dinner (but not, alas, for the hamster's dinner)...
Clinging to the underside of a leaf of lettuce...
was one...
lone...
feather.
*spooky music*

We've also added a (currently nameless) female grey Siberian hamster to the menagerie. She picked DG, not the other way around. She's happiest out of the cage, being social. Odd little critter.
Alas...
Thanks to the Giant Hand's efforts, I can once again squeeze through a toilet paper roll with minimum discomfort.
Whee, Dwarf hamsters! Do not buy them in pairs, as they will then plot against you and conspire to overthrow the government.
Re: Alas...
Of course, she's a little busy trying to give me a bath right now. ::wince:: I think someone needs her claws trimmed if she's going to run around inside my shirt.
